Trails are in great shape and are being groomed daily. The riding is now better than it has been for a long time. Not sure about next few weeks weather, but it would take a lot of rain/warm to take the snow away at this point.

I traveled rt 201 from Jackman Border to Bingham this a.m. I could see where the groomers had traveled across the road in about 5 different locations
Should be great riding today

Was up martin luther king weekend and snow was good, a few dirty snow spots outa town but nothing to bad at all. Watch out for Rambo the game warden on Big Wood lake, had my 5 year old son on a 120 and my wife on my 78 jag rock sled and he wanted to ticket me for no registration for the two of them,, we were just hangin on cozy cove cabins yard and the shore between cozy cove and sally mountain cabins thats it no trails just hangin letting my kid get some ridding in as no snow home, well i somehow convinced him to give me a warning and he did so ime thankfull but jeepers buddy take it easy!! Also Rambo likes to sit at the lake outside the rear of the northland and check to see if youve been drinking!!! That was it for me and jackman with my wife and kid trips, i love to go there with the guyes but that trip i just went to hang out by the cabin and watch my wife and kid just put around the cabin wich was oked by the owners before i even made the reservations and got hassled abought a 5 year old on a 120 being unregistered??

Not to be a killjoy but why should you ride around unregistered, while the rest of us have to?
It would be different if it was your own property

X 2 Funny how he will ticket a Mainer, but give an outtastater a warning.

Also what is the so wrong about keeping drunk drivers off the trails? Jackman, is a great destination for the guys or the family.

Keep the drunks off the trail, BUT a kid NOT riding the trail and on a 120 just putting around the cabin SHOULDN'T be hassled-stuff like that could sour a kid who will with some encouragement and positive experiences be a responsible registration paying adult. Oh and as for wifes sled-You should of got a ticket never mind a warning! I know a lot wont agree but its just my own OPINION(which don't mean squat) from my past experiences.

Ive registered sleds in maine since the early 80s, the wifes sled is a old rock sled i got just for home so they can tinker with whene it snows a 78 ac jag and we were on private property and dipped onto lake as a turn around for a saterday afternoon? Its just a rock sled i draged up for a day so she could tinker with kid, registering it for that maybe 3 miles in circles?? Come on it never hit a trail or my kid. Ya the drunks i agree but i got a cdl and 2 beers and i would be out my licence, Ive suported maine snowmobiling for for 25 years, ive payed my share over the years and know the rules but they never even came close to a trail-95% was private property we had permition to ride on. Whatever, ill be in rangely next time i want to let my son ride around a little bit.
