Please don't say Edge performance, they are the reason I am asking. I am looking for a good dealership especially with a good wrench. I don't think I would have had as many problems with my fusion if I found a better dealership.

I bought mine in Orangeville @ Tractor Turf and Trail. I have mixed feelings about the dealership in general and probably would not recommend you go there to buy, basically they are a bit lazy in the front.
In the back I have had a few dealings with the service guys. They get training courses and seem like good guys to me. They answered any questions that I had. I have not had any problems with my 07 switchback so it has just been for the initial service and warranty updates.
I have no problem recommending them for service.
When I went to Edge I was there looking at sleds, opening hoods, down looking at the skid, watching the girls make coffee, etc. NOT ONE person could even say HI or ask what I was doing or anything. I can't stand going into a place and no one having the courtesy to even welcome me to their place.

I bought 2 sleds from spoiled sports in bowmanville and i would not go back. The owners have the worst attitude i have ever seen. Have a friend that bought from dt power sports in uxbridge and he is realy happy. You seem to hear good and bad everywhere. Good luck.

I have dealt with Janssens in Gravenhurst. They have been great to us on every aspect. Parts department, sales dept, knowledge, honesty and the guys in the shop have all been great. No complaints, have dealt with them back when it was Moses Equipment. I've been with them since 1989 and never heard anything negative. I know guys which have used Performance Recreation their pretty good also apparantely. I would highly reccommend janssen though.

The dealers are all the same, none off them seem to have any pride in there work, and the mechanics dont seem to know that you paid 10 maybe 15 thousand for your sled. They round off the heads on the bolts ,at lease the ones they put back(pisses me off) grease all over the place, except for the nipples that are hard to get at.Ive been to a few shops and they are all the same bunch off shoe makers. The best guys to have work on your sled are the mechanics that do it at home in there backyard garage,at reasonable rates. They seem to do better work when they are fully responsible, and they like to have a good reputation.

I could not have disagreed more. Spoiled Sports has always taken care of me and I have had no probs with my Fusion since day one. Only two probs and both were my fault. And the Dealer makes the difference with a 900 running good or bad so I'm gonna say if you want your 900 to run awesome then Spoiled Sports is the place. And the owner's have one of the best attitude's especially if you dealing one on one with Dave, oh and check your attitude at the door because most people who don't like him usually got the chip on their shoulder takin off by him, he's quite the personality and if your straight with him he'll take care of you. And some who didn't like him in the past have returned because they realize he does know his stuff.
BTW , if you find a backyard mechanic to work on it ask him to pullout his laptop and show you his Digtal Wrench program. When he looks at you confused you'll know why some people shouldn't work on them.

I have noticed the same thing when I have gone in there, but I have not had any complaints about the service work I had done. They could use a bit more costomer service at the front door, bought my last ATV from DT and was very happy with them, start to finish. Just my .02

Allan Byers.
Bought 3 sleds from him. Was always greeted with a smile and my first name...
Even got a hands on clutch lesson when I swapped in a Erlandson helix/spring kit.
That was a few years ago though.... Same owners though. Customer service was never lacking there.
I used to ride with their mechanic and the one from Performance.....(back in the day)

x3 plus Davey's a hoot just to hang around with
Bought my last sled off someone else, I couldn't pass up the deal of better then US pricing, but once I got it home and realized they didn't do any of the updates they said they did (even put the stickers for them on the sled) and never regisered my 3 year warrenty. I called Davey up told him what happened and he said his ever popular "bring er in brother and we'll get er all fixed up fur ya" all taken care of for me at no charge and no calls to POO by me. Never even asked why I didn't buy from him, as I have in the past (but did make fun of me for not buying from him, till I told him the price) he just took care of things in his true "Hillbilly" fashion ........ Top notch and treated like family

That is very true, I have gone in there on many ocasion and they treat you like dirt, and the last time Is was in there to buy some parts and oil,
I pulled out my PPSC membership card and the two ladies behind the counter would not give me 5% OFF on the oil. and gave me a laim excuse why.
DT Powersports have alway treated me as you would expect and they have honoured the 5% discount on any items, oil or parts and clothing.
And Jenssen in Bracebridge is also good to deal with.
By the way I tried to by a sled from Spoiled Sports, and that was like pulling teeth. went to DT and got a good deal on a 2006 Fusion 600 HO with all the updates plus 100% Warranty on the first 500 miles then 50-50 for the remainder of the season. AND they also gave me a new Fusion cover.
Cheers.

This is the way i was treated also. The last sled i picked up from them had the hood all scratched real bad ( 05 600 annv). I asked if they had any other in the create and there was 2. So i asked why they were giving me this one and they got all pissy. So i got my sled and my chip on my shoulder and left. I do here they have great service and they can make anything run (dont know deal with iantomasi). Spoiled sports seem to be good to the guys that have dealt there a long time, but they dont seem to be trying to hard for new business. Theres good and bad seems no matter where you go.

Cody's a nice guy. My best freind and riding buddy is an excellent Polaris master mechanic north of here. I have owned high maintenance sleds that needed proper tuning and Spoiled Sports was the only place to go.
In the off season I order parts off of Todd's as I live three minutes away. In the last week I have made 2 trips to Bowmanville to get parts as Todd's in Millbrook had none, not even a standard water pump belt. They have no shock rebuilding service either.
I called Dave at Spoiled thursday at lunch and asked him to build me a custom set of Fox shocks. I arrived at 4:00 pm and they said they were done and ready at 2:00 pm. I have no complaints, he's only a poor farmer. hehe
Taylorh, That's too bad for your experience, all good at Iantomasi. I remember a couple years back Spoiled Sports had grown and Dave was looking like he was going to burn out, he was trying to do it all like when he was smaller. He has more delegated staff now and seems pretty relaxed lately.

A couple years ago, I took a bunch of guys for the RAP tour, one buddy, the Polaris broke down in Barry's Bay. Called Wayne's, they had the parts, so I rode the sled down, got there at close, but because they were expecting me, were gonna' wait. The part was all packaged up ready to go, best service I'd seen with the exception of my 'Doo dealer (who used to be a 'Poo / Arctic Cat dealer before switching!!!)

Cant disagree more, I drove my pos Fusion over an hour and a half to Edge Performance at least 6 times because they were the only ones outside my dealer who would look at it. Craig was great, took me in and did everything he could do to help me out. Ended up costing him money out of his pocket as Polaris wouldn't stand behind the warrantee. He bent over backwards every time I called, unlike the dealer I gave my 14g's to. I personally watched as Edge mechanics replaced parts that my dealer "supposedly" had replaced only weeks before. If I every buy another Polaris, it will be from Craig.
Some Fusions will never run right, because they weren't built right. After 13 visits to dealers, I gave up.

Actually I get along with Craig pretty good. I am just bitter My sled has been to him 6 times, two scheduled the other 4 times to fix some sort of mistake of theres. I picked it up this last time got home went to put oil in it, when I opened the cowling it fell to the one side. It wasn't broke when it went in there. I was so fed up but kept my cool and instead of calling I emailed them instead about my disconcern, giving them a chance to explain never even got a response out of them. I don't want to get into a whole bad mouthing rant here but there is a list of other things I could go on with.

I have use edge on many times. i like craig, always got me in there and fixed the sled fast. but there was 200-300 in extra work done on my bill i didn't O.K. then i started blowing moters 2 weeks after i had them service my sled. 3 engines in 2 years. yada yada, bring sled home and i would have to go over it, to catch mistakes... screws not tight holding carbs to jug...you get the idea...(sloppy service) I will not use them for service, but will buy parts or sleds off them.
Iantomassi - good guys to deal with, seem to have good service, had my heads reshaped by them, blew engine a few weeks later, bad job on the heads was the problem. haven't used them again
spoiled sports - dave is gruff, no doubt about it !, does he know his shit? yes he does, always fair with me. i have seen him work on other peoples sleds, good work. and he stands behind his shit if there is a problem.
For every dealer there will be good stories and bad, everyone has a different level of expectiations for service and treatment, everyone makes mistakes, has bad days, and has sloppy service. shit happens. it happens less in a good run shop, and that is what you will find. but if they get you in and out fast, and are fairley reliable, i don't think that you can expect more, because shit happens and it is what they do or how they handle the shit situation is what counts, and you should tell them what happened, not just switch a dealer. i never told iantomassi that his recut heads caused a hydro lock and total engine failure, i just went somewhere else. i never gave them the chance to make good on there work...probably should have
