Just seeing if anyones gonna be around the lakes area especially gull lake since radar runs at Ernies and Ice fishing Extrazgavana this saturday. I will be mostly around gull lake, n long, nisswa, breezy. Maybe see some of you out there, just look for a green 03 F7 EFI with a guy with a blue MX helmet and a HMK Pack and jacket! might be a pure all full black no decal 01 MXZ 700 with me.

I have in my notes from the Crow Wing County Snowmobile Trail Association meeting on Jan.14th, that the Ernies on Gull Radar Speed Runs is scheduled for Jan 27th (Sunday) sponsored by the Baxter snowmobile club.
The fishing contest is the 26th.
Maybe make a quick call to Ernies to confirm, but thats the way I have it in the minutes, and I'm the Secretary. LOL.

I've not been involved in that activity. Understand that there are 11 separate clubs in the Trail Association, so there are activities going on that not everybody is involved in.

I'm going to ride the mississipi up to aitkin and back from home tomorrow!!! plenty of snow and open water up there!!! I made this run yesterday and it was bright and sunny out so I ran it wfo most of the way and it was interesting, lots of deer... unfortunately, I think it will be overcast tomorrow so I will have to ride more normal speeds due to poor visibility but it will still be fun.
Forsure, I will be at gull on sunday!!! dang, I'm glad you started this thread cause like you, I thought the radar runs were saturday as well!!
Ha yea i was just told later today that it was on sunday, i thought it would be more logical to ahve it on saturday since thats when everyone is up here, sundays, people start to head back home, or just a lazy day. we will see how it turns out with the high expected in the 35's.
