I can get it straight up like 87 degree angle from the ground. It gets to the point that you start to think about letting off because you think it is going to come over.

If I get grip, im the same as above....you think about dropin it, but I only have a 1 inch track so grip is hard to come by!
most times when I stand when im riding I can have the skis sit about a foot off the ground until I want them on the ground....I pass lots of my friends and they say the skis are never on the ground when i accelerate hard by them....but I don't have a problem turning or anything like that, I just slide a cpl inches forward, then they are PLANTED! My sled is setup perfect.....good transfer and no ski lift when not wanted!

during a drag race I can get the skis up about 2 feet for about 35 feet. and thats with my front and rear suspension set up as stiff as possible.

I can get them when I want to as long as my 1" track grabs hold. On a hardpack trail or crusty powder I can keep them up for a pretty good distance with my little 500

as far as how high... Usually anywhere from 6" to a couple feet depending on the conditions...

Probably only 6" to a foot..... oh wait, were you talking about hitting it at 50 or 60??

Haha, yes it is. :div20: Thanks for the compliment! Only problem with lifting the skiis at 60 is trying to steer :banghead: It can get a little hairy depending on the conditions.

Have you ever done a 90+ degrees( ski are at 8ft plus), just make sure your not going to fast, running along hanging on to the handle bars gets tricky. Needless to say the brake bring her back in a hurry, I saw a buddy do it, wish I had a video, funniest $hit you ever seen. He's truely a crazy man!!! Better his sled than mine!!!

Its pretty much straight up and down. Maybe next time I can stall it out like that and we can block it up or something. Then run in the shop and make a huge protractor if you like. If we get some snow soon I'll try getting a buddy to take a pic for me.

If anyone wants to pull your skis try putting your toes in the top of your back bumper. Want weight transfer, you got it! Its tricky but once you do it for 20 yrs. it can win you trophys. Make sure you hang your head over the hood and wack it. Ha Ha, have fun. 98 Ski Plattekill up hill drag champ. It sounds crazy but it worked that day.

More than 90 deg. I was in the final of a local drag race. Skis were up so high that I had a big chunk on mud on the rear bumper. That all was at grass drags. On ice I had to bail when I was practicing hole shots. Jumped off and pushed on the handle bars to get the nose back down. that time was about 100 deg.

I took the rrss out of my 01 xcsp800 once and I couldnt keep the skis on the ground,at all,so after screwing around with it like that for the day I put them back in so I could corner :drunk:
