Hey,

Is anyone from or been sledding up in Calabogie lately, the website says closed and was wondering if it will be open by tomorrow.

Can I say "GO FOR IT?" They have snow, but are slow this year in getting out to groom. A bit of history, Calabogie borders with my club (WhiteWater SnoGoers) and in years past when we don't enough snow, they (Calabogie) has no problem opening up our gates and riding on our clubs "closed" trails, so, I'd say go ride it.

OK, now the responsible thing to do is not ride their trails, drive the extra hour to Renfrew and start riding from their. You can go North or West, a few washouts, but overall decent snow.

Have fun!!

Drive the extra 30 minutes to Pembroke. My son and I road from Pembroke to Matawa and back yesterday. 277 miles. With the exception of about 3 km. just before Deep river and running the road for about 2 km. in Deep River the trails were great.

The Missing Link was not groomed but was still fine. We met the groomer going up when we were coming back.

Myself and "Bucky the Dog" rode yesterday in the Barry's bay area. It also was quite good. We unloaded at Logo's Land and took the A trail to Pembroke then on the B trail to Madawaska and then looped, trail 175 & 173 around towards Barry's Bay trail E109, Golden Lake and Eagenville, trail B102 & B101A and then back on the A trail back to Logo's land. Trails were groomed and in many places we were the first on the groomed trail. That loop is just over 400km and is listed as being open.

Trails in Plevna, Ompah, Snow Road areas are in great shape so Calabogie should be good to go!

Rode from White Lake to Calabogie yesterday on the hydro line trail. It hasn't been groomed, neither have the trails in Calabogie, but they were still pretty good. Not sure how they will hold up to weekend warrior traffic though.....

I just live around the corner from Logos Land, if you ever need a riding partner other than "Bucky the Dog" give me a PM, just give me enough of a heads up so that I can find a babysitter, and shhh, don't tell the wife....
