Thinking off leaving from Barrie Saturday Morning and heading up this way, how are things, they show as limitied and I have heard rumors of them getting dumped on. Can anyone from that area comment please?
Thanks

A member of the Prostate Team Lives in Lafontaine and tells me shes been shoveling for a week straight . Those trails are listed as limited , but I can confirm with you that the GBSR are very good with maintaining those trails . I bet they are better than Limited . Here's the
Linky for yeah. The club is just reporting that because of the amount of snow they are receiving the groomers are having trouble keeping up. Lafontaine recieved 1ft yesterday and it was'nt forecasted.
Winters back Giver brother!
Glad to see your back onboard and staying hardcore!

I'm in Moonstone, right off of B205, and we've been getting nailed for the last week, pretty much non stop!, yesterday we hada bit of a repreave, so with a nice sunny day I did a ride to Orillia and back, then up toward port severn to the intersection of C, and 15. Ran in to a couple of guys coming down 15, working thier way down to Orillia from Bracebridge, said 15 was kinda crappy, and they'd been breaking a lot of trail, but looking at C going north towards Port Severn it looked great.
C at the intersection of B205 had not been groomed, but from Vasey road towards Midland it is. supposedly there are complaints from some road or municipal guys that the carbides are wrecking the road where C crosses Vasey road.... Whatever, traffic has never been THAT heavy to wreck a road!
B205 from Moonstone towards B has also been groomed repeatedly this week, and should be in great condition. The only down side is going to be that since it has stayed really cold, even through the day time, the snow is still pretty light, and prone to getting tossed up pretty easy. the sun we had yesterday did help some, as I noticed that the trails felt better by the end of the day after the sun warmed them, and then the cold stiffened them up again towards evening.
Again it started snowing here around 7:0pm last night, and it's still coming down today!! we've probably got another 3 " of fresh powder again since last night, and no sign of it letting up anytime soon.
All in all it should be a great weekend, but get out early as everyone with a trailer will probably be heading this way!
Sorry for the long post. LOL

rode those trails this weekend, saturday they were beat to hell and the 2 groomers couldnt keep up with all the sled action. they had a nice trail side bbq by balm beach. Sunday was a beautiful day, we get on the trails at the perfect time that the groomer had just been on before us, we were just flying along with the sun out lighting the way. That ride got cut short about ten minutes in when we got into some sweet turning when my dad got stuck in a bit of a rut the groomer made he thought he could get out of without breaking but didnt and went right into a tree. luckily wasnt hurt and i didnt run him over when he landed on the trail. his Ski was screwed and hood is smashed a bit and cracked and a bit of belly pan damage. we slapped on a replacement plastic ski and was good for the rest of the day and today. it was funny he had one plasic and one metal, that tree really did damage on that ski.
