I would say if you don't want to drive too far, you could try out Punderson Lake State Park just south of Chardon, OH. I believe they have a trail system within the park that you could try your sled. You're not gonna put much mileage on your sled, that's for sure, but if you are looking for a close place to try your sled out you could give it a try because I believe Geauga county got quite a bit of snow. I would venture to say they got at least a foot. The other place you could try is the Greenway trail in Ashtabula county, but that's about an additional hour drive.

I don't think Punderson is gonna give you the wide open your looking for. The Greenway Trail is what you want but there are no studs (picks) allowed.

Went to Jefferson, Ohio yesterday and was shocked at the amount of snow they had just north of Rt. 6. Should be pretty good riding up there right now. Heres a few pics from my last ride up there about 3 weeks ago.

Where can I learn more about the Greenway Trail. Specifically, where is it located/how do I get access? How long is it? Any stops/towns along the way?
Is it a decent ride for part of the day?
