Hey guys...just registered my new XF in Wisconsin so I could get rid of buying the $18 FIB pass every year. I rarely ride Illinois anymore now as Im back living in the city. I used to ride the Fox when I lived in Algonquin.

Anyway question I have is: can I legally ride in Illinois with a Sled registered in Wisconsin even though Im an Illinois resident?

Thanks in advance

It is illegal, but you are allowed to dual register, that is what I do. It only cost $18 ($6 per year) to register a sled in IL for 3 years so there really is no reason to not do IL reggy. $6 per year to save from a $140 ticket, you would have to be lucky for a lot of years for that to pay off.
