Hey all, I just wanted to write and put it out there I've been done hard over by Rob Heeb (Better Boards) on SnoWest. After the Pro-X group buy fell through he was to send back the money order for $158 I'd sent him for my boards. I spoke with him on the 9th and we discussed how he wouldn't have to transfer the funds to another money order but simply send me back the MO I sent him. Fast forward to this past Tuesday. After trying to reach him all weekend I finally got through to him. He told me that he'd have to get back to me because he wasn't sure if the MO had been sent back yet. I still haven't received that call back and I STILL don't have my money either, WTF?? Subsequent calls have only gotten his voicemail which I left messages on. I'm fuckin' pissed!! Like I don't need the $160 bucks. I was supposed to go on an extended riding weekend tomorrow and planned on using those funds. It nice to know that when there are bigger fish to fry Rob's right there with his hand out! Looks like I'm taking one for the team idhitit.gif THANKS ROB HEEB!! Thanks for listening.

He's probably a busy guy, and I'm sure he'll make you right. I've dealt with him before for digatron equipment and he has always treated me very good. But yes, it does sound like it is taking too long :-(

Busy???? Who the F cares. He took money on a project that he did not deliver on or even start. Refund the damn money immediately. It's not even sofaking who cancelled the transaction it was Rob who did. Nothing worse than poor customer service or lack of communication between seller and customer. If he told him it might be a few weeks it might be fine but the fact that he has heard nothing for a while, unacceptable IMO.

Has everything been taken care of yet? I ordered a set for my IQ race chassis, supposed to be sent out shorty after the 14th. I haven't seen them yet, and I pm'd him on snowest, and haven't gotten an answer. Hopefully they didn't cancel the IQ ones as well.

IQ ones were cancelled as well!!!! If you sent him a money order, he will need to cash it and send you another one. If he sends it back to you, you are out the money!!! It can only be cashed by the persons name on the money order! I too have been dealing with rob as well, nothing but straight up answers for me. I understand your issue, hopefully he will make it right!

Don't mean to sound stupid but, what is this guy making? Better Boards??

Rob, WTF??!! On the 9th when we talked you told me that you'd get my money order right back to me. Well............ in case you haven't noticed it's the 24th, over 2 weeks later. When I called you on Tuesday you told me that you would have to call me back and you had to check to see if "she" had sent the mo back. You still haven't called and I'm still waiting! I needed the money for this weekend as I was to leave tomorrow morning with my buddies for a long weekend of riding. Looks like I'm not going. THANKS DUDE!

Hey not only is it an extra ordinarily busy time for parts I also have magazine guys here from Norway so I was unable to respond. I didn't realize funds were so tight that this would be such an issue for you. We swung through town the other day from our riding trip (now we are in Oregon for a week) and I personally sent your money order back. Sorry about the delay but more sorry that your personal financial situation is such that the $158 kept you from going on a ride. I guess if it makes you feel better I'll take the heat for that and apoligize that I kept you from a riding trip.

Thanks Rob. FYI, I'm disabled from a skydiving accident 4 years ago and I'm on a fixed income so yes, funds are very tight. I'm lucky I can ride and don't get to do it as much as I'd like. I planned the trip knowing I'd be getting the MO back shortly after we talked on the 9th so yea, I depended on you. I too am sorry my financial situation is such that the $158 kept me from going on a ride. Must be nice for you since it seems you think $158 is such a small amount of money. You may want to think twice before judging those you don't know. It is my hope for you that you never suffer a catastrophic, debilitating injury that leaves you inches from losing your life, but maybe if you did you'd gain a bit of perspective. Good bye.

Rich

Good luck to those that have any dealings with this guy. I know if I never hear his name again I wouldn't miss him.

Gosh, give this guy Rob a break.. Rich, if you really wanted to go on that trip Im 100% sure there would be ways to figure it out. Personally I wouldnt even buy a sled if I had such a tight budget. What if you blow a belt and maybe hit a rock and need to replace a trailingarm for instance? I cant imagine going on a weekend trip barerly breaking even.. just my .02..
you should trashtalk his company, its not like he ripped you off...

So they canceled the boards for the IQ as well. That fricken sucks. I wonder when he was going to tell everyone? That is kinda disgusting. He should have notified us so we could have been looking into something else. I didn't send a money order. Just my credit card # and shipping info. Oh well. Jesse.

Not defending Rob but if you would have actually bought, installed and paid for his boards, does that mean you'd be too short of cash to ride it? J/K. I run a business and understand how hard it is to keep everyone happy, once and a while you screw up. Sounds like he got you your money back so now you can ride:) Don't bitch to hard because it was our tax dollars you sent Rob when you cashed the disability check...I wish I could sled all winter and have someone else pay for it. Rob has always shot me straight. I have delt with him many times with digatrons and parts and he has even called in an order from his anual trip to oregon. Great guy in my opinion. I think that you should cut him some slack and let him attempt to right his wrong before ripping him. jmho
