When you have 5 plus feet of snow>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Most of the rivers are not what you are use to back east. These are glacier fed rivers. Winter time the water levels drop in places 10 feet. You do have alot of downed trees, stumps, rocks, etc, etc, but then again 5 feet plus of snow generally takes care of most of that.

We had an outstandingly smooth year on some of the rivers last year. Very smooth and fast, very comparable to your groomed trail riding there in NH, VT and Me. Enjoy the pics>>>>>

ya, stumps, rocks, and downed trees are just more crap to jump!
way better when you have lots of snow. last year a buddy found a downed tree and wasted a trailing-arm.

I am from Maine and went out last year and rode a week with Sircatchalot and tblooma, the lost picture is what the river looked like last year, way better than most of the trails around New England, except maybe in the County.
