Just got back from the Charlevoix/Quebec areas and I thought I would give everyone a report. They have 2-5ft of base with aprox 6-12 inches of soft snow on top and every trail we were on was groomed to perfection. We also rode many powerlines and ungroomed park roads and they were fun, but once again they only had between 6-12 inches of fresh snow on them.

So if you are a mountain rider and are looking for deep snow to ride you might want to wait for more snow, but if you are a trail rider then get out there because it does not get any better. The particular areas covered under this report include the areas around and between Quebec City, La Malbaie, and L Etape.
