Has anyone experienced a problem with the oil pump cable sticking? what was your solution

Yep. The 755 and 866's had this problem. Look down between your y-pipe, between the throttle bodies. You'll see a spring. When you move the throttle it will turn. When you let go of the throttle, it may not come back fully. Hit the spring with some brake cleaner. They get gummed up. There are a lot of threads on this.
