I'm trying to help my buddy who just sank his '02 XCSP 800 in the river. Everything is o.k. and running again but with my past experiences the seat will need to be changed. They never seem to be right again. Anyways, will a seat from the fusion or IQ chassis swap out with his or does it need to be from the Gen 2 series?

Here is a tip that works guaranteed!!
Take the seat off the sled, remove the cover enogh to get the foam out.
STUFF the foam into a pillow case (yes it is possible)
put the pillow case (and seat) in the dryer for an hour. THe pressure from the pillow case will keep getting the water out of the foam, and the drier will keep the pillow case dry.
That is some Cool foam they developed the way it holds the water in, but this method works.
When I thought of this technique, it worked like a charm. THis after doing everything including running over the foam with the truck over and over. The seat off an 01 is still in use, I think I thought of doing this bak in 04.
