Well... my dad has a 97 mxz 440F that supposedly has a "broken" piston... The sled, for it's age, is in pretty good condition... needs new shocks (i don't think these ones can be recharged/rebuilt?) The dealership wanted about 800 to fix it... I think we should scrap the sled personally... but he doesn't like my idea. So... what would it cost for me to rebuild the engine?

Pistons, rings, gaskets, and I think my dad said somethin about a gasket on the crank?

What do you guys think?

I looked on the Wiseco website, couldn't seem to find the right pistons...

Anyone know where I can find pistons/rings/gaskets?

Check these guys out:

They have wiseco and spi (i did the spi pistons and am very happy with em). These guys were great to deal with, had good prices, and were very prompt to return my emails. I think I paid around 160ish for two pistons, rings, caged bearings, circlips, wrist pins, and gaskets.
