Hey looks like were finally getting back into winter. I'm heading up to Callander for what started to be an ice fishing trip for next weekend the sledders of the group got so pumped about the snow we decided to leave early and head up Wednesday (30th) of next week. Just wondering if anyone can tell me what's the best riding from Callander, N,S,W or East. The last time we did this trip we rode north. Any suggestions would be great. First ride of the year for us, hopefully not the last. kissass.gif

Thanks

Riding south towards Huntsville sounds good as they have lots of snow.
Riding east towards Mattawa seems to be always groomed the best for that area.
I have heard that North bay to Temagami is rough but north of that is good, I would think with the snow we have been getting that this will improve soon.
I have never ridden North bay west but I think they have good snow coverage that way as well.

Have fun

Think about a loop east towards Mattawa, then north on the local Mattawa trails that hook up with the A/D just north of North Bay and then head back down south to Callendar.

ylsuper.gif Sweet, I cannot freakin wait. I attemted a trip a couple weeks ago but got rained out and only made it out once last year. I hope the old ZR can handle all the excitment.

Thanks guys

We always do a Matawa run when we are in the area.
