this machine will start but acts like the key is not on properly, keeps beeping and will not go above 3,000 RPM. I know the key is on properly, this does not happen everytime but often enough. Thinking it is the computer. Any help or suggestions appreciated

it's a pretty common glitch,the female end of your tether or DESS is either dirty or not making proper contact.Try pushing down or gently turning the tether cap until it quites beeping,If you still have problems you can buy a new DESS cap for uder 20 bucks from BRP and they just have to prodram it to your sled.
