Is this track a 16" or 15". What is req'd. for track removal? IE do I need to remove the chain case and is there any pit falls to this. I have done lots of tracks on Polaris's but no Ski-Doos.

The standard track is 15 x 121. If you've done a polaris you can do a ski-doo, not much differance.

This is out of the service manual, you do not have to remove the chain case but it might make it easier.

REMOVAL
Remove the following parts:
– speedometer cable
– muffler
– chaincase cover
– suspension
– drive axle seal
– end bearing housing
– sprockets and chain
– drive axle (toward end bearing housing)
– track

What is the tallest track that will fit with studs? IE will a hacksaw or a ripsaw fit with studs?

a f chassis will take a 1.75 track without studs
