Planning on riding from Saukville to Crivitz on Friday. We will be riding corridor 3 to 34 and then corridor 5. In Wrightstown you have to cross the Wolf river. I am assuming the trail goes over the river by bridge? Or do you actually ride on the river? If you have been on these trails the last few days would like info on the conditions.

Trail 5 crosses the Fox River on the Hwy 96 bridge in Wrightstown. Lots of concrete getting thru town. You might look into heading towards Fondy and taking 7 up the west side of Winnebago. Some guys from the east side told me once. That they cross the north half of Winny towards Menasha, instead of crossing at Wrightstown. I live on the east side of De Pere and plan on unloading out by 29 on Sat. morn. Heading towards Crivitz over to Lakewood and back. imo.gif

We made the trip yesterday and it was a great! 250 miles (One way, trailered home.)and the trails were in excellent shape, except for corridor 5 being closed north of Glenbulah. Does anyone know why? It was great when you stopped and someone would ask where are you from? And where are you riding to? And the would say holy S***! A big thanks to all the clubs that helped make this a day that myself and 2 friends will never forget.

Did you cross the Fox at Wrightstown? How were the Calumet trails if you did? 3 of us road today from the Maplewood Shell on 29 today, up to Coleman, over to Potato Lake. Down to Suring, to Gillet, to Shawano. Took the railbed back from there. Great trails till just before Pulaski. Then they got rough from traffic. 150 for the day. buttrock.gif

We did cross the Fox river in Wrightstown. That was not a highlight of the trip, but interesting to say the least. Calumet trails were ok, I think the cold weather kept everyone off the trails, A day of heavy traffic would ruin the trails I'm sure. Did you run into alot of traffic today?

No, not a lot of traffic. Nothing compared to what you run into in Oneida & Vilas counties, but even that was low the weekend before. I believe it has a lot to do with the whole state having great conditions. Keeps everybody spread out. clap.gif

The Hwy 96 bridge in Wrightstown across the Fox R. is a lot of concrete and a pretty good climb too. I wouldn't ever want to do that on a sled if I had another way around.
