WAS WONDERING IF i CUT THE MUFFLER OPEN ON MY SLED 98 FORMULA 583 DLX CAN i REMOVE BAFFLES TO MAKE THE EXHAUST A LITTLE BIT LOADER.
Is it worth doing or will I just screw it up so I end up putting a proper one on anyway.

Also, Can anybody tell me whats inside this muffler that makes it so heavy? I also can see something that looks like hair behind a baffle with holes in it. Has anyone gutted out their muffler?

I have a friend with an 03 f5, put a piece of exhaust pipe where the muffler is, if that doesnt mess it up i dont think much will.

In the outlet of your after muffler there is fiberglass packed in there to help quiet and prevent sparks from passing thru so you don't start a fire out on the trail. I would not recommend gutting out the after muffler but I guess you can do what you want. :beerchug:
