Fresh snow, cold temps, ice forming, fine grooming..... My sled overheating!!

With conditions now far again, lets kick off the return of winter with another SCOHCSMNRC Ride.

When: January 24th, 2008

Where: PPSC Clubhouse - See Here for Directions, etc

Pre-boarding at 6:30...

Final Check-in and departure at 7:01pm

Everyone is welcome, come on out and ride with a great bunch of guys on some great trails!!!!

Will I be riding alone?

With Terry leaving town tonight and me manning the fort on my own, I'm doubting I'm going to be able to ride tomorow night

I plan on bringing my F7 home from the cottage with me this weekend, so NEXT week hopefully I can meet up with some of you guys and earn my SCOHCSMNRC stripes . Not that I've never gone out for mid-week night rides before, just never the "Official" SCO-HCS-MNR .

I will have to pass as i still have a couple small thing to do to the sled after the reinsalation of every thing. and i think it would be a good idea to do my first shake down run in the daylight...

3.5 hours till my solo ride, i guess

I will be out riding by myself after timbits hockey (815ish). I will leave UX via the railbed. If you get no other takers I would love to do a tour of the island. Let me know and I will give you my cell if you find yourself with sled, snow and nobody to ride with.

TVB's jeep is still in my driveway, so their having high mile gooder tonight

Wasn't all that high a miler....... We ran out to the other side of the ganny and then came back via the north routes (Side of 35 to East end Speedway etc) then headed North into Port for wings at coops.... We were at coops by 9:30, lol.... Ran into Warren our grooming coordinator, chatted with him a bit. Then Dave and I headed back to the clubhouse, after Dav loaded up I went out for a quick loopd of E108 to PPSC 4, to see if I could figure out my heating issues. I am starting to think it's something bigger than icing up, but I will have to wait and see what it is like during the day when the trails are a little softer. We sure weren't turning up much cooling snow last night, everything was rock hard and flat!!!! Trails were in real good shape (minus the land trail). Thanks for coming out to ride boys!!
