My daughter loves her 120, except after 15mins of straight riding, say following me, she stops and is almost weeping because her thumb is so sore, but she really wants to keep going......I know this is a cause of the governor bypass.

Is there a cure?

It's a Polaris if that makes a difference

Thanks in advance, with more to come after I find out.

Does she have a Gameboy?

Check on Black Magic web site they have a new style throttle for the little sleds.

Be sure that the linkage and cable are both lubricated. Did that to my daughter's Z120 and it's been great since...

just stretched the throttle return spring a bit and all is well... rz

I am a bit confused, isn't the throttle return spring what bypasses the governer?

More she rides the longer she'll last, My little guy same thing. First part of season was 15 min now it seems to be 2-3 tanks before he shuts er down!

The Reason I asked about the gameboy, is our boys also got sore thumbs last year during races. We told them no more gameboy 1 day before race weekends and until Sunday on the drive home. The difference was night and day, no more sore thumb. grinning-smiley-023.gif

LOL, I thought you were using it as a training technique...I think the solution is a GX200 then wouldn't have to bypass the governor? Those Chonda motors can be had pretty cheap now.

I told my wife this summer I wanted to go on Ebay buy a bunch of used gameboys and give them out to the other racers. I do not think thats "cheating", more just stacking my odds. biggrin.gif
