I just got an update from Niles. they do have about 10". give or take. Ride it. I'll be heading up myself. Sorry about the late update. Look for us on the trail.

Man that sled looks AWESOME and the snow is definitely a bonus too! Nothing like a snowy doo. NICE! OK, now I'm jealous! How were the trails? Were there a lot of sleds out?

Safe riding!

Wow. Talk about typical lake effect snow bands. There is about 10" at my brothers house (animalmxz700). But, there were a lot of areas that had about 2-3". head_hurts.gif I thought I was gonna have to stop and pick up my teeth a couple times! There were a few fields that had nice snow. We rode about 38 mile. There were about 5 trailers in the staging area. The trail from the staging area was light on snow. You could see where a couple guys had road out and turned back around like they changed their minds.

I've definitely ridden in better snow. Let's put it that way.

Glad you could make it Zee ell!!!! Rode another 20 miles with my son after you left. We did mostly off trail stuff. We had fun though.

This was my first time to ride in the niles area. My wife and I got at the staging area north of niles about 9am and rode til 3pm. We put on about 100 miles in six hours. It was great in some spots but pretty thin in the open fields. It was definately worth the 2 hour drive up. I was a little worried when we got to south bend. There was only maybe an inch or two there. Soon as you crossed the toll road things sure changed. Can't wait to go back. I'm going to wellston it 2 weeks, then maybe another trip back to niles.
