my sled died like the stator went on me I changed stators and I still do not have spark. Anybody have any suggestions where to go next?

spend a little $ on a shop manual. The $ you save replacing perfectly good parts will amaze you. There are troubleshooting. testing procedures, and so much more. It could be as simple as a loose or grounded wire.
