How did you guys make out in the Woodford/Wilmington area last night/this morning? Enough to get the trails back open?
CampD
Not hardly enough, couple inches then rain, its wet and heavy. If it gets groomed it will help some.

We got 3" at my house overnight, with a crust of freezing rain on top. After I left my wife said it turned back to snow, so there's a chance we got 4". We got 3-4" the other night too. I think that if they could groom tonight before it gets real cold, the riding would be fine for the weekend.

Anyone going to ride Woodford tomorrow? Sounds thin at best.

i might go out tonight and see what they look like.

we got 3" (2300' on a mountian) with a hard crust. when i was out this morning at 7:00 it was raining.

people have been on the trails all week including today.

last night some rocket scientists where out on there sleds, they got off the trail system and decided to ride on a plowed rd. the road had NO snow on it and they rode up it for over a mile before they turned around.

these must had bee the same guys who parked and unloaded on a dirt road two miles from the snowmobile trails two weeks ago.

i talked to the tour guide at twin brooks this evening, he said he just got back from a 6 hour ride,7north was good all the way up to jenks, anything going south is rough, they were trying to keep people off the trails this week so the snow they got could be set up for some riding, hopefully more will fall this weekend and get things back on track, thats if they make it through the weekend now that the trails reopened.
