I'm looking to trade my sweetheart boat for a bass boat. My boat is described below and according to NADA it is worth about $35,000. I'm looking for a Ranger or Triton bass boat, or some other make that is comparable. Depending on what you have, I'll consider a straight-up trade, or a combination of cash/trade.
I have a 2000 Nordic Power boat, model 25 Rage, w/ 454 mag mpi engine and Bravo outdrive. This is a high end boat made in Lake Havisu, AZ (many people consider this a step above Donzi). This boat is cherry and only has 25 hours total usage (yes, this boat has been stored for most of the six years that I've owned it). I just had a new custom tonneau cover and a custom mooring cover made (paid $1,000 for both) in July 2007. This is a 70 mph boat that has been babied to the max. I've attached a photo taken off the net of the same model boat (THIS IS NOT THE ACTUAL BOAT). My boat is shrink wrapped and in storage at present and I can't find any pictures. I will take pictures and send to anybody who is interested in a trade.
I'm looking to trade because as you can obviously see, I don't get enough usage out of this boat. I believe that I would use a fishing boat much more. My kids are at the right age to enjoy family fishing trips and the Nordic isn't a good fishing boat. It's a cruiser/party boat that deserves to be used instead of sitting in a pole barn.
