Im trying to download some new maps, but this is the message am getting .Have a 256mb card but only downloading 230 mb,it saying to reduce size

Is there an option somewhere to format the card? If so, try that.

You might try powering off and then on your GPSr. I have seen situations where MapSource gets out of sync with the GPSr and refuses to download even though there is plenty of room on the SD card. It seems to happen when a download is interrupted mid-stream. Something to try anyway.

It will load only so many map sets I think like 40 or 50.You must be loading topo maps which don't cover much area.Its not the memory but the number of maps.

i have loaded over 600 maps at a time
