I want to change the Chain Case Oil in my 97 Venture 600. Can anyone tell me the easiest way to access the drain plug?

Never mind I just sucked the old oil out and replenished it.

Cloggie...I know this is late, but I'm just changing mine. The drain is on the tunnel side towards the bottom. Just reach under the tunnel below the chain case, and you'll feel the drain plug. I checked my level today, and the oil was very dirty and full of filings. I'll change and flush tomorrow.

Thanks, I will drain it properly now.

Cheers.
