Ya know, Im sure most of the folks that post here are not to blame, but hopefully if your just a lurker and your one of these MORONIC ASSWWIPES who throw litter and trash onto someones property while snowmobiling,..GO JUMP OFF A TALL BUILDING PLEASE!! Or at best, keep off of our snowmobile trail system, Im getting so sick and tired of these SLOBS who are going to get our trails closed!! The CT Valley riders (Guildhall area) are getting complaints and the trails are in Jepardy now because of these IDIOTS!! How can anyone be so rude, stupid and inconsiderate??? If you can carry it in, you better cary it out. I just wish once I could catch the SOB that threw a bunch of trash onto some generous landowners property!! One more note,..if you love this sport and like riding, (even though its such a limited and short season) if you see some junk on the trail, do the right thing and stop and pick it up,..it just may save your favorite riding spot someday, or access to it! If this crap keeps up, we can write off snowmobiling in our very near future forever!!

I've ridden with guys who bring a bunch of beer with them. When they stop, they all pound a couple, then just chuck the cans into the woods.
I don't ride with them anymore.

I filled my tunnel bag with empty beer cans last winter that someone left on the side of the trail in woodford. I work at a golf course and find trash all over the course, mostly empty beer cans. I wonder how they would like it if someone dumped trash in their yards.

I see it some but not as bad as it used to be. The trail runs approx a mile of my familys land in Derby and the Derby club is really good about spring clean up we are avid snowmobilers and understand the costs of letting the trail run our land. But sooner or later someone who could care less about sledding will close their land due to trash and cans left around. Unfortunate but its what happens. Hopefully its not a large land owner the stupid bastards piss off or one that can not be reruited around.

This is a huge problem everywhere; but with snowmobiling we suffer severe consequences with the closure of trails. I fail to understand why people litter. Why the hell do I want to look at your garbage?
This summer while out walking the back roads around my house, I come upon bags of used party cups and such. Low and behold there is a college recruitment letter. Googled the name and address and called. Mom answered and wasn't too pleased Katie had a party then dumped the evidence on the side of the road. Bags were picked up the next day.
There is also a fast food eater that thinks it’s ok to just throw the bag of stuff out on our street after they’ve finish.
Cigarette butts out the window too, those are litter and sitting at an off ramp light recently, the whole ground was covered with them.
All hiking trails say “carry in carry out”, but low an behold many dopes just don’t think it applies to them. It’s so nice to hike in wilderness and come upon soda and water bottles, lovely.
Litterbugs need to be caught and sentenced to many hours of service picking up.

When my wife and I were in Lyndonville last month we came upon like a 30 pack of empty bud light cans, all I could think was" what assholes". I would have picked them up but we were busy carrying our own stuff with us much like those ASSCLOWNS should have!!!

People can be such assholes! It is for reasons like this that we lose the use of trails.
Grow up people!!!!
Clean up after yourselves, and more importantly DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE! There are FAMILIES out there riding with KIDS and you are not only taking your own life in your STUPID hands but others too!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't tell you how many cans I find during fall clean-up on the trails. It's unconscionable to me that someone who has been given the privilege of riding on private property could be so careless as to litter on the trails. I also appreciate those of you who carry out you cigarette butts. To me, throwing a bud light can in the woods is the same as a Marlboro; the fact remains that it is someone else's property and not a land fill!

ANYONE who drinks beer WHILE sledding is a white trash piece of shit and I hope they suffer and die from a painful terminal illness.
The fact that they throw their cans into the woods does not suprise me.
