please give us information on the next storm. hopefully vermont will get more snow coverage

Looks like at least 1" liquid with cold temps. Also, It will get real cold, coldest air of the season for the weekend. Looks like some of the open water will freeze.

Also, another storm in the 1" liquid area for next Wednesday. Obviously that's pretty far out right now.

Madcat how snow does one inch of liquid translate into?

I was told 1" of liquid = 12" snow on average

1" with a temp around 32º = about 10" of snow. If the temperatures are in the lower 20's you could have 15 - 1 ratios. We had snow one time with like 10º and it was in the 30 - 1 range. Obviously that's some fluffy stuff there.
