Has anyone out there installed the factory 12 volt accessory outlet on a new ski-doo xp without a battery. The instructions say to just plug it into the accessory plug that is available under the dash. Plugged it in exactly like they said and it doesn't work. Do I need a rectifier/capacitor set up or is this sled putting out dc already?
Thanks

I'm assuming that you are checking the voltage with the sled running. It is a DC accessory hookup, so you don't need anything else. Make sure you are hooking up to the right spot. Use a test light, and with the sled running test your leads.
