I have an 05 iq I wass looking around in the engine compartment cheking the brake pads and felt that there was a slight movement
with the rotor. Less tha an 1/8 inch maybe 1/16. Please tell me this is easy to fix or is nomal I'm going riding this weekend.

thanks

99% sure that that is normal. you want the rotor to be able to float a little bit. usually one side of the brake pads moves more then the other and when that pad wears the rotor needs to float to meet up accordingly.

Yes, Jordan is correct.

The rotor moves around some. Definately there is side to side movenent, not a huge amount but some for sure. The splines should be fairly tight though. If you have quite a bit of slop or movement in the splines this could be a bad sign. 1/8" to 1/16" sounds like a normal amount of movement.
