Well, we figured we'd better get our riding in before the warm up, so we took up our friend "WinterHarley" (on here) on his offer to go riding with him at his camp. All we can say is thanks for the awesome riding and guiding, dinners, and hospitality; it was the best riding we've had in years.

All I really know is that we started in Walden just above where the Cole's pond webcam is located and took off from there. On saturday we ended up at the Upper Valley Bar and Grill for lunch. The whole ride was insanely awesome, the only rough spot was in Cabot, where I've heard the groomer was broken or something of the sort. The rail trail was awesome, everything was damn good! We met up with some other friends by coincidence at Marty's store, rode with them for a while as well, again the trails were awesome. We got back to camp then decided to head out for dinner. We met the groomer on our way to dinner, we ate at the "Creamery" which was very good.

Sunday was surprisingly better than Saturday. I don't really know much about the trail numbers and towns we went through 'cause we were getting an awesome tour by WinterHarley. We got a late start, but somehow none of us heard the groomer go by the camp Saturday night, but we got to ride freshly groomed trails with no other tracks except for ours for a good hour. We went to some big lookout above Cole's Pond first off, then ended up in East Burke for lunch. We ate at "The Pub Outback" which was extremely good; great service, great food, great everything.

Overall we had got close to 300 miles on all excellent trails, we ran into two total water bars the whole weekend and they weren't even bad, more like small ditches. The only bad section the whole weekend was the small spot in Cabot, but everything else was sooooo good it doesn't even matter. It was a little warm and we were womping the sleds pretty good, but the SDI's in the group got the best gas mileage.

I don't know how this warm weather is going to affect them up there, but hopefully we can ride next weekend (not this upcoming but the one after that) if we get some snow and cold weather.

One other thing, if anyone's looking for a new motocross style helmet, get To Be!!!! I got one, and all I have to say is it's the best helmet I've ever seen and used/worn! It's just awesome, the foam is placed very well, nothing is pressing on your ears, holds your head nice. It's hard to get on and off at first, but I think it's getting easier as it breaks in. The finish is awesome, it holds goggle straps well, the material of the padding/liner is awesome, and it's super light. If anyone would like some close up pics let me know.

But, here's some pics!

Here's a pic of the new retro graphics we put on our friends crossfire. Oh, and they're from ArcticFx; very good quality, easy to install, definitely recommended.

Hey, WH, you didn't happen to see my cell phone charger still plugged into the extension cord did you?

When do you plan on heading up to ride again?
winterharley
Yes I found it. I hung it up so you have to come back and get it. Lets plan for the following weekend. The weather projection are saying a nor-easter around tuesday.
