97 Mountain Max: Burning out all light bulbs.
- What is the 'special additional voltage regulator', most inboard side slightly higher.
Only used on 600's not 700's?
- I can see up to 35Vac at the headlight plug
- Replaced the 'voltage rectifier/regulator' [middle position], still burning light bulbs out.
- Ohmed out the 'lighting circuit coil' on the stator, 6 wire plug Yellow to Black. Difficult to measure, saw 0.5 ohms.

Any more ideas??

I would check all your wiring closely, even under taped areas. I had a 600 mountain max that kept blowing them, it was the wiring near the hood hinge point, under the tape, inside the black covering. 1 tiny wire and hard to spot, but it was the culprit.
