Took the big loop on Saturday and stopped for gas at the east Randolph general store.
The roast beef sandwich was unreal! piled high, nice and red for only $3.50. I'll be back.
Our other favorite's include the Plymoth General and south Woodstock General. Nothing like making a big loop knowing you have some tasty vids waiting for you at hte halfway point.
Eating and Riding mix just fine.

Stopped at the Charlmont, in Morrissville, and 2 of us had a nice lunch for $15. The food was excellent.

Check out Jimmz Pizza on trail 2 in Waterbury. They make a great pie. Jimmz is located where trail 2 crosses Vermont route 100. They are across route 100 from the Sunoco station and not far from Little River State Park.
Excellent hand made thin crust pizza and tasty local micro brews (I recommend the Ridge Runner)
Slices are available and they can also put together a sub to go.

When we walked in all 4 of us thought it was a little fancy for us but it turned out to be an awesome find!!

HELL YEA!! his sandwiches have a minimun of one pound of meat,. (thats for real) and whatever toppings you want for free!!. I remember when he first opened that store about 12 years ago, he was wondering if it would make it, hes now the biggest employer in Danville, (outside the skrewl system) and is raking in the dough, His Family, (the Beaties) also own the Creamery restaurant, and a few other small adventures in the area, the family has been there since the early 1800's. Marty is an American success story, and I deeply envy him!!

Marty's in Danville.

It's been years since I've been down there, do they have inside seating? Last time I was there it was very cold and eating outside was no fun. Little Breezy is a fun little place to eat at. The family that runs it are very nice.

yep, you got that right, hell, I remember when marties was a wood lot,..But Im glad hes there,. The Danville General store was in a state of decline even back in the 80's when I was hunting up there, but it sure felt more-so like 'old new england' in that town back then, ,...now it feels like a rich daddys town, not at all like the danville of days gone by. (again,..man I miss the 70's and 80's!!)
