Well i went for a ride with a bunch of guys from the Port perry area today but unfortunatly i only made it like 15 miles as my track as come apart and my double backers and studs CUT my heat exchanger in to two pieces. Sorry Guys!!!

Anyways now i need to get a new track and i am looking at the pre studded from camoplast has anyone tried one of these out before and if so do you like or dislike??

The current track i have is a X-Force by Kimpex 15x121 1.25 so i was looking at the ripsaw or i was also thinking about going 136" but dropping back down to a 1 inch... what do you guys think. Any help would be good help..

Also if i go to 136 i inch will this affect my gearing of clutching?

Thanks... time to head to the garage and start an extensive tear down...

Maybe that will happen tomorrow and today ill tackle this box o beer..

Hi Kev- I put a Camoplast 136 Ice Scratcher 1 1/4" track on my 700XCSP last season. In my experience, nothing beats studs for the best traction. The points on the Ice Sratcher will wear down and dull and you can't replace them. When it was new, the grip was just OK, but if you want the best traction for all out riding then studs are the way to go. I did gear down to 1.88 for the 136" track and I like it.

Go 136". I did this year and love it. I also have 162 studs down the middle with the tall nuts. I would also recommend the double backers where possible. If you ride mainly on hard pack, the rip saw is great. I ride a mixture of hard pack and ditch and wish I would have went with a 1.5" lug Camoplast Intense instead of the 1.25" Ripsaw. I would not go to a 1". To much traction is lost. And stay away from the tracks with the studs molded in. Regular studs are the way to go. Been there done that.
