Hi

I live in the Westside (rose valley) and would like to know of any places to ride on this side of the bridge.

I hear near bear creek but am not sure where the trails are or what kind of riding. I have a MC 800 and looking more for powder than groomed trails.

Thanks

Yeah, Friends of mine ride the Bear Creek forestry road, up towards Crystal Mountain i believe, we just got back from Greystokes, more trails, more adventure.

Yeah, I was up there today as well. Short ride though. Didn't get up there till 2pm!

Definitely need a guide for up there. lol.

I'll have to check out the bear creek road. I've been over it in a truck.. in the summer. Any idea of where they park?

I've also heard of areas off the connector. Need to run into someone that knows where is good around there.

Hey, what is Idabel area like? Any good this time of year? Greystokes seems a tad..crowded.

Hey Denwa,
Like I said i havent been there myself, yeah I understand it is a short ride.
They usually park at a friends place off of Glenrosa road, ride powerlines and forestry roads.
As far as Idabel it is very flat riding, I believe the club has bought a new gromer for the area and should arrive mid January. I haven't been there exept for the Club's family fun day last Feb then we only played on the lake with some relicks and rode the dealers new demo sleds.
I am not sure if you are intrested but the Kelowna Snowmobile club is a great way to network with people, they have meetings once a month with a huge smorg dinner and bar, usually have some new iron from the dealers to look at and just a good place to hook up with different people. They have some different events and club rides as well.

If you want PM me and i can call you if you need someone to go out riding with, i am still learing the areas myself but i usually hook up with some guys that have been out riding for years and know the area.
Are you availble during the week for riding, or only weekends? We are probably going out this week sometimes.

yea thats where my crew rides, We are generally the only ones making tracks

Bear Main - 13k, Right on Espron Main (resivor) -24k Park off to the side, so not to screw with loggers. very active up there.. either head up towards Terrace some good chutes and endless cut block playing or up espron lake main

Like i said very active logging,, not uncommon to have 8-10 trucks bombing down at you with full loads goin 110 khm/s

wich helps keeps this area very untracked

oh ya and don't invite yer freinds,
