I just got back from Colorado riding with Chris Burandt. His Backcountry Adventures is awesome. The guy is an amazing rider. If you get the chance you have to reserve your spot and ride with him for a few days. He runs a first class operation. The food, lodging, riding, and company are great.

That would be really neat to do. I'm sure it was well worth every dollar to do this. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Man, I am so jealous of you right now.
My wife was trying to save up the extra $$ to send me as a surprise birthday gift for my 40th in two weeks, but that isn't happening. dohdoh.gif
Now I've got to live vicariously through you.
So give us the low down on how it was laid out, sleds, ridding, house, and costs.

I'd love to go someday, but he's not running a poor man's adventure package.
tbeaton
yeah it looks real cool, but its not cheap and if i am not mistaken he said on the sledheads program they only allow 6 people.

The reason he wants to keep the numbers lower is so the group doesn't get to big. He keeps it real personel and helps out everyone. If your stuck, he's the first one to pull you out and give you advice on how to ride if you want it. He has a full stable of M8 and M1000's, from stock to mod and lets you try all of them. His Speedwerx M8 153 rips. As for lodging, the rooms are nice and the food was great. The price can be scary but you definately get what you pay for. He takes you out and evaluates your skill level then takes you to the next level. He's a great guy and if you get the chance, you have to go. I've ridden/raced sleds for a long time and he put me to shame. The guy can ride. Here's a picture of the living room.

Good for you, I'm sure you'll have a blast and never forget it! I'm jealous, would like to go before he raises the prices! I noticed he was booked solid for the rest of the year!

man thats spendy. you can rent a sled, pay for a hotel, and get a guide for way less than that in most towns.
he must be a celib to get that kinda money.

We spent the night drinking with his wife and buddies one night in West Yellowstone while Burandt was getting rest for the next days freestyle show. They were a very cool group and Burandt put "UP" a pretty impressive show the next day. He can friggen jump!

Burandts Back Country Adventure

I just got back from Colorado last night.
All I can say is WOW.
Some places there was 6 - 8 FEET of powder, I got my ass kicked.

Here are some pictures from Saturday and Sunday.
