Sunday I rode up through Maple Corners, from the East Montpelier direction, and picked up 12N to Hardwick and was pretty surprised at the trail conditions. It doesn't look like the groomers have been out in this area at all this year. I know that they couldn't do much for most of last week but I couldn't see where they had been out before that. A lot of the intersections need to be resigned because some trails aren't even open anymore. I know there is a lot of open water bars and streams but if they had gotten out before we got the rains they might of been able to bridge some of them. The only thing I saw that Hardwick had groomed was the rail trail. Are they going to groom anything on the west of route 14 this year when we get more snow?
