Hi, Got a new 07 600 HO Switchback, and except for a couple issues, (fuel mileage and W/S, both that I am working on and improving), I really am impressed. One other problem I noticed when I was rejetting, was that where the hood opening meets the airbox, was not aligned at all. Standing at the front of the sled, looking at where the airbox foam was compressed, you could see the hood was not centered and was a few inches off in the 10 o'clock position. It was so far off that a large portion of the airbox foam was blocking the opening (and making it run rich and hurting fuel mileage, too, I'm sure) on one side and almost not sealing on the otherside, allowing some air to be sucked from under the hood. Looking at the airbox, you could see it was not sitting straight, (and a bear to reinstall). I noticed that the bracket under the airbox, that is riveted to the tunnel to support the airbox, seemed to mounted crooked. So I "formed" it, which did allow the airbox to sit level, and made it a lot easier to reinstall. While it did take away some of the misalignment, it still is far from being centered. Anyone else notice this, or did I get a Friday afternoon machine? Any suggestions on getting straight? I am looking at the SLP air horn kit, thinking this may help this problem. Thank you, Randy

Do the SLP kit with flowites. Makes it easier to install also.
