Hey ... long time member and cat man ... however my fathers sled has started to be problematic and not sure if it is APV issue or not. When the sled first starts I know the APV is supposed to 'cycle' to show you it is working (we have the cover off). Anyway it was running great until boxing day after a short ride we discovered the APV did not cycle on startup ... then went out again and after a quck blip of throttle up to about 80 mph ... backed off throttle to go thru a gap and she just idled down and shut off. Restarted and seemed to run fine ... did the same thing again today ... not sure if related to APV as it seems like a possible issue with the throttle position sensor as it has been hard to start without giving full throttle (even with hot engine) . Since we are new to the APV sleds any advice is welcome on where to start .

Thanks ,

Mine cycles after you blip the throttle after starting.Did you check to see if the valves are free?Possibly they are hanging up.
