i took my sled for a good ride yesterday put on about 30 miles then i decided to have soem fun and i hit a jump pretty hard and when i landed i heard a grinding noise but it cleared out and i left it later on that day i was doubling my friend and when i gave it some good gas (3\4 throttle) the grinding noise was back any suggestions on what it could be? where to start looking? i got a 144 picked track could it be loose and just rubbing hard? thanks for the help

check your jack shaft.

Check if you chain it to loose, or if your track is to loose.

well i figured out what it was i took off my secondary and dropped my skid and the jackshaft's bearing either fell out or grenaded and the jackshaft melted through the 2 plates that hold the bearings and melted right down the tullel 4 inches from its center i just bought all new parts and am throwing a new track on also thanks for the advice

actually my dad is a welder so we welded it up then threw it on the laith and cleaned it up, its just like new now. should i repair the gash in the tunnel or leave it and just silicone it? thanks

Dustin

p.s. the end was really screwed up it had a v down the center where the bearing is supposed to be but we suprisingly fixed it
