Get this! The wife tells me that come Saturday, I have to stay out of the garage untill Christmas. She says my present is too big and heavy to bring in the house and that now she has to find extra large wrapping paper. But she said it doesn't have wheels or skies... What do you guys think? I have no idea whats going on but I am willing to put money on it that Hagstrom41 and Wintermistress do! I've been "stillsledless" since 02, so we will see come Tuesday!!!

I was thinking more along the lines of a garage refrigerator

! A friend of mine has a 96 Formula SS 670 for $800 - I might try that.

$800 huh? A guy in the other thread has a 93 exciter for $1,200. Or would you rather have the 670?

She already has her new washer and dryer! If its not a sled it better be a big plasma!

I suppose the 670 would be sufficient for now. Does anybody know anything about the Formula 670's? Pros/Cons?

670 is a good motor. I wouldnt buy a modded one. The suspension kinda sucks though. I'd grab it for $800 if it runs and looks good.

Its got a pipe and a Dyno Port can and that's all I know of. Is that bad?

No, i meant more like head mod, porting and such. Alot of guys think they know it all and do this work themselves, then go out and beat the hell out of it and cant figure out why it aint running right. I dont think a pipe and can will hurt the motor that much but by themselves i also dont think you will get any gain and the monkeying around you need to do can take time away from riding. Get your carbs and clutch dialed in and leave it alone. Should be fine. like i said those motors are pretty reliable.

No, run it. 1996 Formula Z is a good sled. Just ride it and don't dick with it.
