Ever heard of kelly peaks? its a nice place to go, same with eagle basin, both you can get to from the toll booths, you can see kelly peaks from the coquihalla before the tolls I believe, you just need to follow the lower road that takes you to tulameen, and head up towards the headwaters of the tulameen river. Are you sure you don't mean lawless creek?, never heard of flawless creek, so was just curious, but yeah you can go up lawless creek, pass the bridge you can follow up spur one, and get into some nice cutblocks and climbs, but I wouldnt want to go in there now, stump city for sure, you can actually get onto boulder mtn from spur 1 by cutting accross some cutblocks, boulder dosnt have much, but a couple nice big cornices to drop and some more cutblocks. You can also access lodeston mountain which also runs into the whipsaw, but you would have to bring gas since its a long trip, but yeah I grew up in the area on a sled from the other side, so I know most of the areas, theres alot most people don't even realize. Henning and 10K just get to busy for my liking these days.

Not to sure on the weather Sat looks to be the chits sunday might be the better bet and that don't look that good. more then likely snow and socked in so might just be pow busten for the day, not in to big climbs when i can only see 20 feet. you riding this weekend ?

Not to sure where i have been out there explore alot just not to sure what most of the names are of the areas are. I'm sure i have not hit all those places due to fact never brought extra fuel so only go as far as a tank will let us, and alot of the time its snowing and can't see to much in the way of anything.

You should try it sometime, ride to tulameen and stay there, theres some good riding to be had up there, some of it accessible in the spring only, and the best part of all, not many other people, I rarely run into other snowmobilers up there.

Last spring we pushed for tulameen must been a bit to late, turned back due to lack of snow. thinking we hit the coq few more times then head out for whistler still have to ride in from rutherford creek gone in throught b wine and callagen but not rutherford.

rutherford is usually where I go in, I think theres alot less people because its the furthest road in to the ice fields from the lower mainland, callahan was closed down, no more sledding access there, which is a hard hit for snowmobilers down here, have never been up brandywine myself yet, but have someone taking me this year, ever go up brohm or bralorne?

wow brandywhine looks nice, I can't wait to go now, do you ride on the glacier at all? Rutherford is pretty much all glacier riding, no trees, nothing, and it would be nice not to have to worry about crevices all the time.

I have actually never been up sunshine valley, but looks pretty nice from your pics, how would you rate it, any climbing? or is it mostly trail riding? Might have to give it a go this year, thanks for the tip, we look at it all the time, since theres a mountain right behind the mountain that the hope slide happened on that we ride on all the time, and has a nice view of the hope princeton hwy, and we can see some real nice clearings and peaks over that way, was always curious.

If you carry on another 45 min or so on the hope princeton past sunshine valley, you can ride flat top/Poseidon (spelling??) in east gate and ride right over the US/Canada border, I dunno if you have been there, but there is some really nice bowls in there you can drop into with some pretty massive 500 foot vertical climbs.

Only been riding since 02 started with 02 summit 500 136/1.5 so kinda rode the trails and little bit of the deep, in 05 we got few 05 600 summit 144/2 and have been more into the steep and deep since then. Have not rode passed sunshine on the number 3 and as far as the toll booth on the number 5 and Callagen is as far as we have gone out whistler area. You can ride up to the ice fields through B-wine two ways as far as i know, only have rode in through OH SHIT CUTE and you can see it in the pic of b-wine the big pull at the end of metal dome medow, its a big climb 1000 + i figger and have seen a few sleds become parts trying. the other way is called the gauntlet i have not gone in that way so don't know how hard or easy it is. Sunshine is not huge but theres a old ski hill up there and some clear cuts some good climbs, theres a few logging roads to ride take you back you should beable to see the princeton highway from the oneside. its been a bit since we rode out there so i think i might have to head out there again just great views to be had out there. here are some pics of the Coq week or so ago

looks familiar, can't put my finger on it, but yeah theres endless riding up here, too bad its all around 2-3 hours outside the lower mainland, and as long as they don't keep closing it down on us. Are you doing much sledding over the christmas break? I hope to go at least a few times before new year, in the coquihalla area, will let you know how much more snow, apparently its been dumping up there.
Sledhound
Was going to go today but got held up so no go today. Will ride A.S.A.P thinking 26, 27, 28 at least one of those days, hope for all three but might not get that. Have to put the mod away and run the stocker put some miles on it only has 200 miles so want to braker in and burn the old gas out.

well, after spending a week in Tulameen, I can say that the snow in some areas is ridiculously deep! I went up to 10K area one day where I found the most snow, porbly a good 4-5' of fresh, gotta love it, but damn am I ever tired, I need a holiday from my holiday! and need to get back into shape desperately. Another day went further east from 10K, not nearly as much snow, but still a good amount for this time of year, could still play, can't wait to try brohm, the snow must be insane up there right now, well time to bring the snowmobile down for some lower mainland riding I guess and find out, glad I made the jump from 136 to 151 after this Christmas break!
Sledhound
Yes mader out the other day rode 10 k for a bit but was socked so left to play lower down made it back to rabbit mountain and looped back. Posted some pics in the mountain form was deep forsure !
