Is there anywhere in town to buy GPS mounts?? I just bought a quest. Going to mount it to my sled. I'm thinking of using the motorcycle mount. I stopped at Bestbuy yesterday and they didn't even know what a quest was... LOL... yeah. yeah... They had crap for GPS I thought....

Well, if you know of anyplace locally let me know. If not I will have to buy on line..... Located in South Bend....

fyi....I put mine on my tank bag. That way I can take it with me quickly when I stop. Don't have to constantly loosen and unloosen the thing.

I don't know of anyone locally in your area but I believe there is a dealer search feature in Ram mounts website. I would bet that anyone local does not have many mounts in stock.

I just bought my ram mount from these guys:
Ram mount distributor

garmin gpsmount 60csx suction mount

Their price was good and I got the mount in normal delivery time.

My Wife got me a Magellan Crossover for X-mas (this thing is awesome) and I was thinking of mounting it also, my only concern is if i keep my camra in any pocket other then ones that are close to my body the LCD screen is worthless. Are the Gps screens the same? Thanks Buddy.

Temperature ranges between gps models and brands may vary. My Garmin gpsmap 60csx is stated as being good down to 5deg F. I have not had it that cold yet but it worked fine in 20 deg weather. I just read tonight that leaving the backlight on helps to heat the screen. I could see where that may be possible. I have also seen on here where some guys install a handgrip heating pad between the unit and the mount to keep the unit warm. If you do a search or browse around I am sure you can find it.
