well what kind of riding are you looking for? Hemlock, Burke mountain and Cypress has riding, but its very limited trail riding, to get into good powder riding I think Brohm would be the closest at about 2 hours drive, then the ice caps and coquihalla toll booths/10K are about the 2.5 hour mark. I have heard there is some good mountain riding to be had on the backside of Chem, but have never been to know myself, but plan to try it out this year and that would be nice at about 1.5 - 2 hours away depending on where to unload. I think thats about it from the areas I know anyways

thanks for the response, I dont know what kind of riding there is out there, but since I'm relocating to Burnaby/Coquitlam(?sp) area, I was hoping there would be sledding somewhere close. 2hrs isnt tooooo bad.

Lots of places to ride as long as you don't mind hauling for a hour or two

well I don't know what kind of riding your used to, but I can say with alot of confidence, 3 feet of pristine powder without a track around in the mountains of BC is worth the 2 hour drive! You should be happy with the riding here

Also burke and hemlock are both within about an hour drive of you, but theres not a whole lot of snow, and is trail riding, from what I have heard anyways, I have never gone there myself, might try it this year with the family for a little outing.
