Thinking of starting at the C.T in Uxbridge. If I head towards the Ganaraska Forest is the portion of the E108 that runs across Scugog on the map safe and easy to see where to go. If not can I go north on E108 up to woodville then down to Sunderland and back to Uxbridge.
If this plan doesn't make sense there is always the fenelon paudash run which is in great shape.
If anyone wants to go I'm good for 200-250k no problem back before dark.

Wish I could join ya. My buddy was out today , and last Friday, and the Paudash region is mint. Although that balance of drive/sled comes to mind, and the trails down here are pretty good from the pics Nutter posted today.

The parking lot behind Walmart is a good spot to stage, but the parking lot is currently blocked with some cars that got stuck trying to get in there to do to the nature preserve. I would think they would be out of there by morning.

Have a good ride.

Ok I just got back from a quick little run from end of railbed on MAIN ST to Wallmart via the trails. No love on the bottom part of the railbed till you get to lakeridge wehre the groomer has made a pass inthe last 24hrs. From there into wallmart, all is better than last year. It is a tight twisty trail once you get off the fields. From lakeridge north-east on the railbed is groomed to perfection.

I really can't help you much between here and Uxbridge, haven't been that way yet this year, but I do know once you hit our trails that are open you'll be in a fresh groomed heaven, if you leave early enough, same goes for Long Sault and Ganny trails. ylsuper.gif

Hi Al. Thanks for the trail update, to bad you can't come but for sure after X-MAS holiday's we should get some good runs in.

Nutter thanks for the trail update. Do you know if I can cross the lake on E108 so I can head towards the Gany. I know it's not listed as safe yet.

I was on it yesterday , a little slush but lots of tracks !Theres no stakes yet so if you don't know where to cross the causeway ( just east of Rieds ) then I wouldn't go ! once your south of #7 its dreamy ! If your going tomorrow I'd bring the umbrella !

Thanks for the help guys. I think I will play it safe and avoid the lake (first time out this way) and drive to the PPSC clubhouse to stage. Hope I can park there? Just a pickup truck.

No worries parking there, what time you going ?? seeing as I left my balls in my wifes purse tonight, I might be able to blow off tomorrows comitments and get a ride in.

I can be there anytime. Early is better looked on the map, 407 to 7 should be 40 min tops for me. How early you like to ride.

I have a couple things I have to do in the morn, so I'm good to go for around 10 for a few hours. If you want I can show you around on a few of our local trails here in and around Port. ?? Then when I have to split, I'll point you towards the Ganny with map in hand beer_cheers.gif

I should be there at 7 or 8 at the latest. I like to end my ride before dark.
