Hi guys.

I was out today with my buddy. I put on just shy of 40 miles (61Km) not a real biggie.

So here goes:

Left Washington TWP and hit the PISC trail off of Hamot RD and headed East. Deviated the ride into Waterford to top up gasoline.

From there drove the roads a bit to Mound Grove which we didn't know was closed until 3pm. We continued on toward the Beechwood.

From Mound Grove towards the Beechwood the trails are/were rough and wet in places. Got to Mark Rd and the gate was closed to continue
on towards the Beechwood.

We doubled back and stuck to the trails heading back towards Presque Isle Club and halfway back we met the groomer. I was surprised
to see the trails being groomed in their present condition. It wasn't a bad ride to the clubhouse after that but it was still wet in a few places.

Due to time constraints after getting back to Hamot Rd again we just went home.

All in all I am happy with my 1st real ride of the year.

Man my new Arctiva gear is more than warm!

Ride on!

I didn't get out but if you are going to take a POD I would suggest tomorrow.

I am going out tomorrow no matter what.

Yea, tomorrow is the riding day for sure. We opted to ride Chautauqua county tonight and did about 38 miles....there we had anywhere from 6-12+ inches of snow. Some wet areas and thin areas in the field

Wed night: Rode from PISC (East) toward Mound Grove, then on to Beechwood. Groomer was out. Trials were in good condition. Snow got a little thin behind Eriez Speedway (few mud holes, not real bad).

Thur. night: Rode from PISC toward Valley Inn (west) continued to West Rd. Trails were pretty wet just after Van Camp road (by I-79). If you go that way, take the trail right along the interstate rather than the one that cuts left through the field (The woods section is nothing but bad mud holes!).

Rode Tues-Thursday Every day from PISC to varring points in NY. PA is in way better shape than WNY. Wales trails were muddy but not to bad. ATTN: Anyone going be Peak n PEEK DO NOT take the new trail staring by the gas station/ or heading towards the gas station. Its a complete F'n joke. Lets see theres a creek, all the water from the hills run downhill so lets put it a snowmobile trail through a swamp. BS. I can say that this was the hands down worst (bad excuse) for a trail I have ever been on. I dont go that way often but figured I would change it up. Bad move. Be safe out there.

You can stay on the road there and run to the station. It is very wet due to all the rain..normally that isn't that wet, but right now you need a swamp buggy or some very cold nights for it to freeze. Just be advised that the big field that everyone used to ride its closed and the owner of that does not want sledders on his property. I imagine someone will get pinched for trepassing as sleds still use this run to hit the French Creek Tavern

Anyway, we rode from the Peak today up into Sherman via Clymer and the railroad bed is loaded with snow from there all the way into Sherman...

Thanks twadam. We ended up going to ANF. Sounds like maybe we should have come up there. ANF wasnt all bad but there were some roads that were terrible.
