i have a polaris indy 440, it runs ok but the electrical stuff like the head light and odometer arent working right. they would work fine then cut out so the light shines very dim, then cut back in again at random times. i thought it was a loose connection but all the wiring looks good. does anyone who whats wrong and how to fix it??

It's either a shorting wire or a VR.

Shot in the dark but see if it still does it with the handle bar heaters turned off. Sometimes they will short out on the handlebars and mess up the electrics.
