Well, it was bound to happpen, the throttle sensor on that handle bar has always been a PIA and a few days ago it reared its ugly side once more.
to make a long story short, switch was disconected, throttle froze open... sled went for a 3 mile ride on its own.... did a few jumps, turned left once and smacked into a container van that had a metal "bench" welded to it. Luckily no one was hurt, but now the rebuilding process begins...
I ordered a TETHER switch and will put that in ASAP
but the machine is in need of many things,
ski is broken on right side, belly pan and bumber are in too many pieces to rivet back together, HOOD is a major crunch... half gone, hinge busted... just a real mess, and the exhaust is toast as well, needed new muffler and pipe, doughnuts as well....
if anyone has a few parts lying around or knows of a "junker" or whole machine in eed of an engine? whatever?
this is for a 2003 Z370 most Z's ZR's ZL's between 01-05 will interchange the plastics and hoods.... HELP!
