I have a Vmax 600 from the mid 90's. I beleive it is from 1994-1996. It hasn't been run much over the last two years, and with the snow we just got in the northeast, I decided to take it out. After some persuasion it finally started. When riding at half or 3/4 throttle, the sled runs like it should. However, it bogs at full throttle, and may stall if the throttle is held in all the way. I didn't know if this could be caused by a bad belt, maybe a dirty carb from not being used all these years, etc.... Does anyone have any suggestions on where to start? Also, it had new spark plugs.

I would start by cleaning the carbs. any gas left in them would have gunked them up.

my problems similar to that....cept it bogs on the low RPMs and the carbs were just cleaned....and it doesnt bog out full throttle
